My Journey

Communicator, connector, collaborator, and developer…words used to describe me by my clients and colleagues.

I enjoy partnering with organizations and individuals to develop their full potential through thoughtful connection and authentic communication.

Professional Services
I began my career as a marketer of corporate law firms, Davis Wright Tremaine and Perkins Coie. In the latter half of this part of my career, I became a coach and trainer to many attorneys, helping them develop their strategic individual, department, and office plans. I also interviewed top clients, assessed their satisfaction, identified opportunities for improvement, and implemented new approaches to client service.

Higher Education
When I left the legal industry and entered graduate school at the University of Portland in 2006, I focused my research on how women and men struggle with integrating work and life and how our four to five generations in the workplace respond to these challenges differently.

In 2008, my path transitioned back to my alma mater, where I launched the University of Oregon’s Alumni Career Services program in Portland’s White Stag Block. My role expanded in 2017 in the newly created Assistant Dean of Students and Career Services and Title IX Coordinator role to further enhance the Portland graduate student experience (law, business, architecture, sport, and communication). We focused on building a safe and welcoming community and ensuring all students have the resources to succeed academically and beyond.

Coaching + Consulting
After 10 years at the University of Oregon, I joined the Coraggio Group as a principal consultant who partnered with organizations and leaders on their most important strategic and organizational challenges. In the fall of 2019, I founded my own firm, O+I Develop. I enjoy utilizing my 30 + years of experience and certification as an Integral Coach to partner with people, leaders, and organizations to reach their full potential.

Serving my community is a value demonstrated by my actions within nonprofit organizations. Below is a selected list where I have contributed my time and talents:
